About
Sourdough Social is headquartered in Reno, Nevada with clients locally and all over the West Coast. We offer complete social media management for brands. We are especially passionate about small businesses who want to grow their client base and build their positive reputation online.
Olivia Hernandez is the founder of Sourdough Social. She brings with her more than 7 years of experience in social media and digital marketing, working with such influential brands such as The Ritz-Carlton and Loews Hotels. (For some additional insights into the types of clients we’ve worked with before, click here.) Olivia decided to step out on her own in 2018 and seeks to work with brands who are as passionate about what they do as she is about social media.
Olivia is a native Nevadan who loves to travel. She loves bread (don’t worry, the company name is about more than just that), extreme strolling (think hiking, but without all those pesky hills), and Lake Tahoe. She lives, eats, breathes social media, and wouldn’t trade her job for the world.
Why “Sourdough?”
We know what you’re thinking. What does a bread, albeit a very delicious bread, have to do with social media? Stay with us here, because it’s about more than just our deep-seeded love of sourdough bread.
If you are not familiar with the process necessary to make a loaf of sourdough, the following might help you understand our company and it’s name better.
In order to make a loaf of sourdough bread, you must first have a starter. Sure, you can make your own, but if you talk to a pastry chef, they’ll tell you: the best sourdough breads began from an incredible starter. Recipes for sourdough bread date back to 1500 BC, and through trial and error they found out that some of these sourdough cultures worked and tasted better than others. The starter is created by someone who has perfect their own bread, and wants to share the secret with another who is passionate about it. From there, the next bread maker can go on to make their own incredible bread, and it all started from that first culture. Each subsequent loaf is more and more your own. (So sorry if this made you hungry…)
Sourdough Social has developed a system very similar to that process. I have spent years cultivating the perfect recipe for social media, and applied it in many different industries. I want to take that expertise and apply it to your business.
You are passionate about what you do, what you create, what you sell, and whose lives you touch with your business. I’m passionate about social media. Let me give you the gift of time and help you to find more customers and guests who want to invest in what you do.
Let’s start something social together.
